Finding books and journals in print

Check out the following LibGuide:

From Océano, you can search the Catalogue to see the collection of journals available in print at the University Library:

Once we locate a journal in the catalogue, we'll need to look at the notes for their holdings:

  • "Último número en el expositor de revistas": only the latest issue received is available in the Open Access collection, on the second floor.

To check any of these issues, make a note of its class mark to retrieve it from the Open Access collection.

Previous volumes, as well as the rest of journals not in the Open Access collection are located in the Closed Stacks collection. To request one of these volumes, once you've signed in to Oceano, click on the Request button next to the relevant volume/issue:

If the Journal you need doesn't have the option to Request, please fill the form you'll find at the circulation desk. On this form you'll need to provide:

  • Location: the class mark provided in the “Get It” area
  • Journal title
  • Year, volume…
