Reading Rooms and Reference Room (Bilbao) and Study Room (San Sebastian)

To access the Reading Rooms, the Reference Room or the Study Room you'll need to borrow a study place. To do this, follow the instructions of the Self Check stations located in:

  • Bilbao: the Reference Room or the Welcome Desk.
  • San Sebastian: Main hall.

You'll be assigned a specific seat, for a 4-hour period. You'll also receive a confirmation email indicating the assigned seat.

Remember that before leaving the Library you'll need to return your study place, using one of the Self Check stations.

Important: After the return of a study place, the system will prevent you from borrowing a new study place for the following 15 minutes.
