Welcome to Océano Discovery Library LibGuide!

Océano is the Deusto University Library's search tool for e-resources.

In this platform, the Library has collected all available information resources in order to search for them globally or individually.

It is possible to perform global searches, from a single access point, where we will retrieve the Library resources and many other external resources, mostly available full text.

Attention! To make the most of Océano it's essential to bear in mind the type of information we need and use the right resource. In this LibGuide we have created a tab devoted to each of them explaining in detail which information is provided and how to perform searches.

How to sign in

To log in to Océano, we should access to:

On the following screen, we may enter our Opendeusto or Intranet username and password to get access to the main menu on the right hand:

Signing in to Océano, we will be able to:

  • See a list of our current loans and requests
  • Request books and place holds on books currently borrowed by other users
  • Review information about fines
  • Access to our RefWorks account
  • Save searches and records
  • Set up alerts for saved searches
  • Review the search history
  • Select our language of preference: English, Spanish or Basque
