Welcome to Océano Discovery Library LibGuide!

Océano is the Deusto University Library's search tool for e-resources.

In this platform, the Library has collected all available information resources in order to search for them globally or individually.

It is possible to perform global searches, from a single access point, where we will retrieve the Library resources and many other external resources, mostly available full text.

We may also have individual access to:

Attention! To make the most of Océano it's essential to bear in mind the type of information we need and to use the right resource. In this LibGuide we have created a tab devoted to each of them explaining in detail which information is provided and how to perform searches.

How to sign in

To log in to Océano, we should access:

To log in, we must click on "Sign in" on the top right-hand-side of the page:

On the following screen, we may enter our Opendeusto or Intranet username and password to get access to the main menu on the right hand:

Signing in to Océano, we will be able to:

  • See a list of our current loans and requests
  • Request books and place holds on books currently borrowed by other users
  • Review information about fines
  • Access our RefWorks account
  • Save searches and records
  • Set up alerts for saved searches
  • Review our search history
  • Select our language of preference: English, Spanish or Basque
